Raymarine is pleased to announce the immediate availability of version 4.29 software for all E-Series displays. The new Version 4.29 software expands E-Series capabilities with support for HD and Super HD Digital radar, SIRIUS Satellite Radio, and several new chartplotter features and improvements.
This software replaces previous versions 3.31, 3.30, 3.22, 3.20, 2.30, 1.23 and 1.11. It is not necessary to install any prior versions of software before installing version 4.29.
Version 4.29 offers the following new expanded capabilities:
- HD & Super HD Digital radar support (Scanner software upgrade recommended.)
- SIRIUS Satellite Radio support via SR100 (SR100 software update included.)
New Features of v4 Software:
- Chart: animated tides & currents
- Chart: range rings for determining distance from point-of-interest
- Chart: compass bar for maintaining course heading
- Chart: improved track intervals (distance & time)
- Cartography: selectable Nav chart or Fish’N Chip chart
- Cartography: support Navionics 2007 Gold Plus and Platinum Plus charts
- Engine data: graphical trim tab & engine tilt for NMEA 2000 data
- Autopilot Integrated: ability to put autopilot in Auto or Standby (SeaTalk 1 Pilots)
Software Upgrade Procedure
Step 1: Requirements for Upgrade
Raymarine C & E-Series displays are field upgradeable using a common CompactFlash (CF) memory card. For performing upgrades on Raymarine CF compatible products we strongly recommend using a SanDisk brand "Shoot & Store" or SanDisk brand standard grade CompactFlash card. Raymarine cannot guarantee other CompactFlash suppliers will offer the correct specification card for a successful software upgrade.

IMPORTANT: RayTech RNS 6.0 Software Users Please Take Note!
If you are currently networking RayTech RNS 6.0 software to an E-Series display through SeaTalkhs, do not upgrade your E-Series display to Version 4.29 software. RayTech RNS 6.0 is not compatible with E-Series v4.29 software. RayTech RNS 6.0 users are advised to stay at version 3.31 until RayTech 6.1 software is released in the near future.

Our Certified Service Dept. technicians are offering a year-end special to help you keep your boat in top condition. Rig Tune Service includes:
• Travel to your boat at no additional cost
• Inspect and tune rigging as necessary including climbing the rigging.
• Written summary of work completed
• Offer valid until April 31, 2008,
This service can cost you up to $270, but for a LIMITED TIME, we're offering it for only:
• $150 for a Marcone Rig (Standard with backstay)
• $200 for a B & R Rig (No backstay)
